We are excited to share that our team recently held a pivotal Stakeholder Meeting at the General Directorate of Forestry to present the final findings of our project: “The Effects of Afforestation in Arid Lands on the Diversity of Plants, Birds, and Butterflies at Different Spatial Levels.”
The meeting brought together experts from diverse organizations to discuss how our research can inform the future of biodiversity-friendly afforestation in arid regions. By sharing our data on how different spatial scales and afforestation practices impact key species groups, we aim to bridge the gap between academic research and practical land management.
Together, we are working toward shaping greener, more resilient ecosystems that support both environmental health and regional biodiversity. Thank you to all our stakeholders for a productive discussion and for your commitment to science-based conservation!
